Negotiation & Mediation
Support in difficult conversations, disagreements, settlements and high-stakes negotiations.
STRATEGY • NEGOTIATION • SOLUTIONS
The Negotiator Consultancy helps individuals, businesses and organisations navigate difficult negotiations, disputes, commercial challenges and sensitive engagements — with a practical focus on finding a way forward.
“The right conversation can change everything.”
WHAT WE DO
We combine practical experience, structured thinking and negotiation to help clients address difficult situations with clarity and confidence.
Our work starts with understanding the people, interests, pressures and realities behind the problem — not simply the problem as it first appears.
OUR SERVICES
Engagements are tailored to the circumstances, objectives and scope agreed with each client.
One problem rarely fits one template. We help clients choose the right level of support — from preparation and strategy to direct negotiation and structured engagement.

A DIFFERENT STARTING POINT
Many difficult situations first require someone who can listen, establish the facts, understand the interests of the parties, identify realistic options and help create the right conversation.
We work in that space between the problem and the solution — while recognising that some matters ultimately require qualified legal or other specialist professionals.
ON THE GROUNDPRACTICAL PROBLEM-SOLVING
Good solutions are rarely one-size-fits-all. We take time to understand the people, interests, pressures and realities behind a problem before recommending a way forward.
HOW WE WORK
A confidential initial conversation to understand the situation and what you want to achieve.
We examine the facts, interests, objectives, risks and practical constraints.
We identify realistic options and an appropriate negotiation or engagement strategy.
We assist with negotiation, engagement, advisory support or referral where specialist help is required.
WHAT AN ENGAGEMENT CAN LOOK LIKE
Clarify the situation, objectives, risks and immediate options.
Prepare the negotiation, identify interests and define a practical position.
Support the conversation, correspondence or negotiation within the agreed scope.
WHO WE HELP
WHY THE NEGOTIATOR?
Solutions should work in the real world, not merely sound good on paper.
We consider interests, leverage, risks and objectives before entering negotiations.
An objective perspective focused on the client's stated objectives and the realities of the situation.
Sensitive situations require professionalism and appropriate confidentiality.
The aim is to move difficult situations toward workable outcomes.
Good negotiation starts with understanding what needs to be said, heard and agreed.
